The Gateway FX7020 has special features that include 15-in-1 media card reader, an integrated IR receiver paired with a Media Center remote, and a built-in NTSC/ATSC (HDTV) TV tuner. The copy button on the card reader helps you copy pictures, videos, music, and other files to the respective folders, and that could be viewed in media center or on your tv.

The Gateway FX7020 has included the new AMD Phenom 9600 processor that enables fast multimedia operations and it runs at 2.3 GHz. The Gateway FX7020 holds a graphics card, the 512MB nVidia GeForce 8800 GT, a mid-level enthusiast card, and 500GB SATA hard drive and a dual-layer DVD burner with Labelflash (a disc-labeling feature similar to HP's LightScribe) that make up the distinctive features of this desktop computer.

Gateway keeps you protected using their own backup software that lets you backup your system to any local or extrenal drive. There is also a 60 day Norton internet security offered along with the system. The FX7020 motherboard allows or has only one PCIe x16 slot, so there is no option for adding another graphics card which may hurt some gamers.

The gateway games are powered by Wild Tangent; and it requires you to buy tokens to play the games. The FX7020 runs Crysis at 1,280-by-1,024 (35 fps) whish is barely playable, and World in Conflict, somewhat playable 36 fps at 1,280-by-1,024.

Being perfect as a desktop computer the gateway FX7020 has great value to be purchased and has proved to be a performer and shall be leading the desktop computers market.
