The Sony VIAO VCG-LV190Y comes in at a little under $3000, but it might finally be that complete home entertainment center and PC replacement that you have long been looking for. It is truly and all in one entertainment system. For the movie lover in you, 24 inches of HD goodness awaits. Complete with a Blu-Ray disk player and a crisp, clear LCD flat panel, and backed up by an nVidia GeForce 9300 M GS GPU.

The only drawbacks that I could find were if you tried to use it for graphics intensive gaming at higher resolutions, though the casual home gamer should have no real problems enjoying themselves if they do not know what a drive rebuild is.

The Core 2 Duo E8500 and 4 GB of DDR2 memory make for smooth sailing for most multimedia functions, and with amazing on screen clarity. I could have used a little more than a TB of storage space, but that is because I can't help but save every movie I watch, and now that I have my new Sony, complete with HDMI inputs, I can watch whatever I want.The HDMI inputs are a fantastic addition to this already competent line of products. it eliminated the need for other connectors and bring out the highest quality in the signal.

If you are looking for a solid choice from an excellent company for your living room or bedroom wall centerpiece, then I think you have found it.
