The HP Pavilion Elite m9400t - multimedia plug and play goodness

The HP Pavilion Elite m9400t is a budget multimedia PC with big bucks projects in mind. If you like to share photos online, download and view, or even do simple editing to video, and have always wanted a Blu-Ray player for the living room TV set, for just over $1000 you can replace both your old computer as well as your television set for just over $1000). By opting to get the 20 inch wide screen monitor for your viewing pleasure, this very capable home PC,instead of hiding on a desk in the corner, can now be the center of attraction in any dining room, living room, or bedroom of your choice without embarrassment, and in fact with a bit of pride.

If you are tired of having to search for just the right connectors to be able to add to your entertainment center, then the m9400t is a Godsend. This thing has more input jacks than a bright lite set. Everything from the usual headphone and microphone jacks, to firewire, A/V with direct tuner card connectivity, stereo audio, S-Video for your digital video recorder or VCR, and of course USB. There is even DVI and HDMI ports on the GeForce 9500 GS for DVI monitors or HDTV use. While still a desktop tower, wireless networking allows you to skip on the 50ft cables and connect your modem from wherever is most convenient for you.

Even though there is only one 500GB hard drive, the ability to add on additional removable drives in the Pocket Media and Personal Media slots, adding another TB or more is as simple as adding a floppy. For a majority of general use, HTPC seekers, the HP Pavilion multimedia PC is probably one of the best full featured multimedia desktop PCs that can be had for under $1500.
