Description - Gateway DX4300-03 is another powerful multimedia system that offers much more than needed for all your music videos, pictures and gaming.

Gateway DX4300-03 – The Extravaganza Multimedia System
Gateway DX4300-03 – The Extravaganza Multimedia System

The Gateway DX4300-03 has a curved front panel and concave surface and top that make up the outer look of this powerful highly styled mini tower pc. Your Iphone, iPod, or digital camera, along with external hard drives can be charged with the multitude of USB ports at the back or they can be plugged in one of the media card slots on the front of the system. In total there are eight USB ports and one fire wire Port on the multimedia system and that should cover all your needs with room to spare.

Holding over 750,000 digital pictures and MP3s, or up to 250 DVDs' is an extraordinary feat but also a cakewalk for the loaded gateway pc. There is also a 802.11b/g Wi-Fi card and the HDMI port on the ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics card that make up this fine machinery.

The 8GB of RAM is more than enough and will fulfill any multimedia memory needs. The 300W power supply is good enough to power all the components without issue on this well equipped model. With plenty of space under the hood there is room to grow and upgrade should you need to down the line.

You wont find much extraneous bloatware on the machine which is nice to see. The Gateway excelled in the Windows Media Encoder test and the Photoshop CS4 test, proving itself worthy for day to day use. Gamers could run Crysis (35 frames per second (fps)) and World in Conflict (33 fps) at the lower resolution (1,280-by-1,024). It can be compared with competitors HP Pavilion Elite e9107c-b and the Dell Inspiron545 as far performance score is concerned. Let's not forget the HDMI-out, built-in Wi-Fi that are included in this machine.

Getting what you need out of this machine promises it will continue to get good multimedia computer reviews and a solid choice as your partner for all around entertainment.
