Polywell MiniBox P5500C - Gaming System
Polywell MiniBox P5500C - Gaming System

The mini box compact case is quite impressive for gamers to look at, it also has a wide screen monitor of a full 23 inches. Keeping the small factor form and providing a lot of internal space for all those little components makes its different from the others in its class. The mini box P5500C has an Intel Core i7-870 power and single ATI Radeon HD 4890 graphic card that exhibits power performance and the blu -ray player along with over 3TB drive is apt for a video workstation.

Though it is a mini box, the case is 9.5 by 11.5 by 14 inches, HWD, with a window side panel and handle in the front, but not as attractive in it looks as some of the other gaming PCs. It comes with a whole list of features and is near the top of all gaming systems as it includes 4GB of DDR3 memory, 3.5TB of drive space spread over 3 drives where one is removable. It also includes a Blu-ray player with DVD burner and a plethora of input/output ports, including ten USB 2.0 ports, two FireWire, HDMI, eSATA, and a Display Port. The noise that accompanies might be frustrating to gamers, but you can avoid this by noise canceling headphones or simply turn up your speaker volume while gaming.

The core components - Intel Core i7-870 processor and ATI Radeon HD 4890 graphics card has made it to the top in terms of performance. It allows gaming with Crysis at 1,280 by 1,024 (95 frames per second), World in Conflict at 1,280 by 1,024 (124 fps) and 1,920 by 1,200 (46 fps). The P5500C with high speed is great for broadband gaming sessions and other multimedia uses. It's performance costs a little more than some of its rivals, although it could be had at the competitor's price when some features like blu-ray and other non-essential items are eliminated. The fact remains that it is more powerful performance performance wise than the the average competitive gaming PC.
