Falcon Northwest Talon (Core i7-950) is a fully loaded computer for gaming

A killer machine for gaming that includes all the gimmicks sums up the new Falcon Northwest Talon Core i7 – 950. Defined as high end gaming rig, for hard core gamers, it is designed in a simple fashion with quality and performance. The simple design may understate the perfomance since it looks as it might just be a normal pc.

The black metal finish on the front and glossy black feels a little sticky. This monster case includes an over-clocked Intel core i7-950 processor, a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 285 graphics card, a 500GB hard drive, and a DVD burner. Apart from these the motherboard can accommodate another GTX 285 card or a PCI card one at a time and up to three more DIMMs with maximum of 12GB memory. With a generous 700w power supply it has the power needed for another graphics card. There is one extra 3.5-inch hard drive bay and can pop up to four more hard drives in the case.

The talon can deliver a vewry smooth 3D performance on both our Crysis (98 frames per second at 1,280 by 1,024) and World in Conflict tests (123 fps at 1,280 by 1,024 and 56 fps at 1,920 by 1,200). Supporting all the multimedia gaming options, it really is tops with when it comes to performance.

Talcon produces amazing quality and performance when compared to the Acer Predator and the Polywell Poly 790GX3, and is even a little less expensive. The reason for all the raw power is due to the Core i7-950 processor and an Nvidia GTX 285 graphics card and just can't be compared with the others.
