The AMD Phenom X4 9850 is phenomenal with the 2.5GHz processor manufactured using AMD's 65nm Silicon on Insulator process technology. The Max TDP at 125W of the chip and it is a 'Black Edition’ found better for over clocking. The memory controller is the exclusive aspect of AMD Phenom X4 9850.

Normally the previous versions had a memory controller clocked in at 1.8GHz, so this is a slight improvement that is welcomed in the market. The AMD Phenom X4 quad processors have launched many effective processor models in which one tops the other with improvements that benchmarks its performance.

The 2.5GHz Phenom X4 9850 quad-core desktop processor is said to be running perfect with the 2.5 GHz, 125 W, 2MB total dedicated L2 cache, 2MB L3 cache, 4000MHz hyper transport, socket AM2 plus.

The AMD Phenom x4 processor reviews say that Phenom is said to be better performing than other AMD Phenom family members, and is fitting between the Phenom 9700 and 9900 processors. This new model is ready with adjustments and modifications. This model has fixed up issues in higher end chips that affected data prioritization, and has more technical improvements over the lower-end models.

Selling comparatively well in the market, Phenom X4 9850 is reasonable, but still have to be successful to run with the competitive processor products in the field. With the series of Quad core processors launched by Phenom, AMD Phenom X4 9850 has been upgraded with the technical improvisations. This model is similarly priced with the Intel’s core 2 quad Q6600.
