The AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ CPU with high end multitasking features

The Athlon 64 X2 5000+ it works internally at 2.6 GHz multiplying its HTT clock by 13x, it can access memory only up to 742 MHz and not 800 MHz. The Athlon 64 X2 5000+ is a dual-core CPU running at 2.6 GHz, achieved by multiplying its 200 MHz base clock by 13 and it also has two 512 KB L2 memory caches, one for each core.

When testing in use of real-world applications the SYSmark2004 which proves its overall performance. The Athlon 64 X2 5000+ has shown equal performance results as that of Athlon 64 FX-60 on Internet Content Creation batch and Office Productivity batch, except for document creation and data analysis, the over all performance is good. In CPU batch Athlon 64 X2 5000 has better performance results, specifically 8.94% faster than the Athlon 64 X2 4600+.In 3D performance is quite good with Athlon 64 X2 5000+. The overclocking is able when the Athlon 64 X2 5000+ base clock is set at 220 MHz, a 10% increase on the CPU clock. The Athlon 64 X2 5000+ supports DDR2-800, and its memory bus works at 742 MHz.

The Athlon 64 X2 5000+ has performed well at multitasking tests, and the updated chipsets are the true identity for gaming performance. In SysMark 2004 it has performed average, and it has been proved good for digital content creation and other programs in day to day computing.
